Pastor Ron grew up on a small farm near Gonvick, Minnesota. Previous to receiving the call to serve The LB, he attended the Lutheran Brethren Bible School in Fergus Falls and served as a youth worker in Alberta, Canada and Minot, North Dakota before attending the Lutheran Brethren Seminary. After graduating from Seminary, Pastor Ron served Jevnaker Lutheran Church in Borup, MN from 1998 -2002.   In November 2002,  he moved his family to Williston and has served the Lord here at The LB ever since.  Pastor Ron is married to Barb and they have four children and one daughter-in-law.  Isaac and his wife Addy, Josiah, Ruthanne and Collin. He enjoys, hunting, fishing, and spending time watching the Minnesota Twins.  

Pastor Ron’s desire is to be a part of God’s work in the lives of His people  through the power of the gospel of Christ.  It is a joy for Ron to observe how God frees His people to love Him and their neighbors as themselves, and to help people find and experience the joy of knowing the truth of Roman 8:1:  Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.  Pastor Ron prays that people will find rest and forgiveness through the work of Jesus Christ and that The LB will be a place of grace for you and your family.
